Fuelled by People: Meet Artur Kłak

At Morgan Fuels, our people are what set us apart. Through our Fuelled by People series, we’re proud to spotlight the individuals behind the business, sharing their journeys, achievements, and what makes working at Morgan Fuels unique.

This week, we’re introducing Artur Kłak, our European Account Manager, who has been a valued member of the Morgan Fuels team for almost seven years.

Artur joined Morgan Fuels in October 2019 after deciding it was time for a career change.

At the time, he was working as a self-employed agent in the insurance industry in Northern Ireland but felt ready for a new challenge. When he spotted an advert for an Account Manager role that required Polish language skills, he saw an opportunity to combine his customer relationship experience with his linguistic abilities.

“I went to the interview and got hired on the spot. I started working the next day.”

Since then, Artur’s role has evolved significantly. What began with responsibility for sales and customer relationships has developed into a key position within the business.

Today, he oversees European sales, pricing, customer relationships, supplier contracts, and supplier partnerships, while also contributing to the company's future strategy.

No two days look the same for Artur.

While he spends part of his week in the office, much of his time is spent travelling to meet customers and prospective clients across Europe.

What he enjoys most about the role is the trust and support he receives from the leadership team.

“What I like most about my job is that the management team trusts me a lot. Thanks to that, I can implement new ideas and improve the way the company works. I have a lot of freedom and support from my management.”

That freedom has allowed Artur to play an important role in shaping and developing the business as Morgan Fuels continues to expand across European markets.

For Artur, one of the best things about working at Morgan Fuels is knowing that his efforts have a direct impact on the company's success.

“I feel like I’m not just working for a wage, and it’s very satisfying to see that my hard work helps the company grow.”

Although he now lives and works in Poland, he still feels a strong connection to the team.

“I miss them a lot, to be honest, since I moved to Poland. They are a great bunch of people, always willing to help and full of great ideas.”

One moment that perfectly sums up life at Morgan Fuels for Artur was when he first considered moving back to Poland and opening an office there.

Initially unsure how the idea would be received, he shared his thoughts with CEO, Hugh Morgan.

“I wasn’t sure what the reaction would be, but to my surprise, when I shared the idea with Hugh, he said he thought it was a great idea and gave me full support to make it happen.”

That trust and encouragement ultimately helped bring the vision to life, highlighting the entrepreneurial culture that exists within the business.

When he’s not working, Artur enjoys staying active and spending quality time with his family.

After nearly seven years with the business, Artur says the reason he has stayed is simple.

“The reason I’m with Morgan Fuels for so long is the fact that I feel absolutely comfortable working here. Work is demanding at times, but I know I can reach out to anyone on the team and have their full support no matter what.”

Artur’s journey is a great example of how Morgan Fuels supports people to grow, develop new ideas, and make a real impact. From joining as an Account Manager to leading European operations and helping establish a presence in Poland, his story reflects the trust, ambition, and teamwork that drive our business forward.
